Books I’ve read in 2006

I was bad at keeping track of this category. I’m sure I read more books than this pathetic list….Or maybe I just got used to how much I got to read as a sub in Rockport and now this just feels pitiful. But according to this list, I read 9 books this year. That means that on average it would have taken me 40 days per book. But that’s not how I read books. I usually only read things that I’m very interested in. I sit down, and knock it out in a week and then don’t pick up another book for a month or so (this does not count comic books). Another problem is that I only counted books that I finished. I tend to read about 40 – 60% of a book and then get bored with it. So I didn’t count those. Anyway, here’s the list:

“Da Da Vinci Code.” by That Dispshit
“The Haunted” by Chuck Palahniuk
“The Monster at Our Door” about Avian Flu that I found interesting.
“The Truth with jokes” by Al Franken
“Astonishing Animals” by Tim Flannery & Peter Schouter
“Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity” by David Foster Wallace
“The 9/11 Commission Report: Ommissions & Distortions” by David Ray Griffin
“Wait, You’re Not a Centaur” by Nate Denver
“Letter to a Christian Nation” by Sam Harris (Thanks Gramps)
